Andrew J. Broder, Co-Founder of The Broder Portfolio in 2021, is a highly-respected lawyer in Michigan, having practiced for over 45 years in the suburban Detroit area. He has represented individuals and businesses in a wide range of areas, including corporate law and litigation, banking, business, probate administration and litigation, and real estate (including drafting and reviewing documents, working with mortgage companies and mortgage brokers throughout the State of Michigan, and litigating real estate disputes, including the largest mortgage title insurance forgery claim ever brought against one of the principal title insurers in the country). Mr. Broder represents several condominium associations.
Mr. Broder also served as general counsel to a national mortgage lender in Ann Arbor. As a result of his work with mortgage companies and brokers, as well as financial institutions, Mr. Broder has extensive experience with virtually every type of real estate financing vehicle that borrowers may be able to utilize to assist them to buy or sell real estate. He has, in short, been involved in hundreds of real estate transactions during his career, some of which were simple and others extraordinarily complex. Mr. Broder's credentials go beyond real estate matters. He has served as a mediator and arbitrator in Wayne County and Oakland County, he is approved as arbitrator of consumer disputes for the American Arbitration Association, and he just concluded a lengthy term as a member of the Federal Rules Committee for the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan.
Mr. Broder’s reputation for honesty, integrity and his ability to serve his clients, has been a hallmark of his long career. Completing a formal education in music performance, production and artist management, Mr. Broder has worked with a diverse roster of classical, jazz and contemporary talent that includes the International Chamber Soloists, rock-sensation Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Lindsey Stirling, Evanescence, Jazz at Lincoln Center and prize-winners of “Miss Michigan” and “Miss America.” As Director & Lead Violinist of the electro-pop violin & DJ band, NUCLASSICA® (Nominated, "Best Entertainment 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019" Michigan Meetings + Events Magazine,) Mr. Broder appeared on Season 11 of NBC's "America's Got Talent," and has opened for artists including The Temptations, The Jacksons, John Legend, The Chainsmokers, Michael Buble, Ludacris, Dan + Shay, Sean Kingston, Corrine Bailey Rae, Flo-Rida and Nelly.
In addition to maintaining a busy performance schedule with NUCLASSICA®, Mr. Broder oversees all operations of Broder Talent Group (BTG), specializing in the personal management and representation of musical talent within the entertainment and modeling industries. Mr. Broder is currently President & Artistic Director of the non-profit, National Music Institute, committed to the guidance, support and showcasing of diverse, emerging talent.

Judith Trepeck is a consultant to The Broder Portfolio and a member of its Team. The services and experience she offers will be invaluable to clients of the Portfolio. Ms. Trepeck's career spans more than four decades of service to businesses, individuals, and organizations locally, nationally and internationally. She served for many years as a Judge at the Michigan Tax Tribunal, a multidisciplinary Michigan court located in Lansing, Michigan. She held the only CPA member seat in the seven-Judge Tribunal. As a Judge, Ms. Trepeck conducted hearings, rendered over 750 written decisions, and supervised hearing officers and students assigned to the Tribunal. Her knowledge of property tax assessment and appeals was exemplified when, after serving as a judge, she represented taxpayers in their appeal to the court with a 98% success rate. Her knowledge and experience in the property tax field has been invaluable to buyers and sellers of real estate, who have called on her to assist them with tax appeals.
Ms. Trepeck is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA), the CPA Firm Management Association (CPAFMA), and the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD). * Andrew J. Broder is an owner of the Payne, Broder & Fossee, P.C. law firm (the “Law Firm”), and is also a co-owner of The Broder Portfolio. The Law Firm is an entity which is separate and distinct from The Broder Portfolio. No client of the Law Firm is required to utilize the services of The Broder Portfolio, or vice-versa. Mr. Broder will not provide legal services through The Broder Portfolio. To the extent any client engages the Law Firm to provide legal services, the engagement will be the subject of a specific engagement letter. To the extent any client of the Law Firm uses The Broder Portfolio to provide real estate services, a listing or services agreement will be signed and agency disclosures will be furnished.
